Atty. Estrella Gabon Menchavez, EMBA
Estrella inherited her passion for the law and public service from her father, Crispin Montejo Menchavez, a lawyer and former Justice of the Peace for Santa Fe, Bantayan Island, Cebu. Admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2010, much of her practice focuses on litigation, governance, policy, negotiation, procurement law, compliance and business law.
Currently, she is the resident regional counsel for the Department of Social Welfare and Development - Field Office VII; and at the same time, she runs the Menchavez Legal Services.
During her downtime, she spends it in the beautiful island of Palawan to manage her start-up social enterprise, the Green Traveler (IG @thegreentraveler.ph). It is a community-based travel company, in partnership with the indigenous people of the island, the Tagbanuas of Coron Island.
Additionally, she is an active and a nationally-accredited mentor for the Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Agriculture, and Go Negosyo's campaign, the "Kapatid Mentor Me Program" on regulatory compliance and business law, advocating for the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
